The HPE JW263A (Aruba IAP‑277) is a rugged, outdoor-rated dual-radio 802.11ac (Wave 1) access point, designed for high-performance deployment in harsh environments. It delivers up to 1.3 Gbps on the 5 GHz band and approximately 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, utilizing 3×3 MIMO and beamforming for robust connection quality. Equipped with one PoE+ (802.3at) Gigabit Ethernet port, an additional Gigabit port, and a micro-USB console interface, it supports flexible power and management options. Built with six integrated directional multipolarized antennas (around 6.5 dBi, 80° beamwidth) and designed for pole or wall mounting, the unit withstands extreme temperatures (−40 °C to 65 °C), is fully sealed against contaminants, and features industrial-grade surge protection. It supports Aruba Instant mode, ClientMatch technology, and is FIPS/TAA compliant—ideal for enterprise-grade outdoor coverage, campuses, industrial sites, and public venues.
