The HPE JL274A, part of the X150 series, is a hot-pluggable 100 Gb/s QSFP28 transceiver engineered for short-reach multimode fiber environments. Utilizing the 850 nm wavelength and compliant with the 100GBASE-SR4 Ethernet standard, it supports transmission distances up to 100 m over OM4—and approximately 70 m over OM3—through an MTP/MPO connector. Fully compliant with QSFP28 MSA specifications, it includes digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM), operates efficiently under a single 3.3 V power supply with power consumption up to 3.5 W, and is rated for standard (0–70 °C) and industrial (−40–85 °C) operating conditions, making it reliable for data center, rack-to-rack, and high-density network deployments.
