The HPE JG661A is a hot-pluggable 40 Gb/s QSFP+ transceiver designed for long-distance single-mode fiber links, transmitting across four CWDM lanes (approximately 1270 nm to 1330 nm) via a duplex LC connector to deliver 40GBASE-LR4 performance over distances up to 10 km. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3ba and QSFP+ MSA standards, it includes Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics, operates within standard commercial temperature ranges, and is widely compatible with HPE and H3C network infrastructure.
