The Arista DCS‑7500R2A‑36CQ‑LC is a high-density, wirespeed line card for the Arista 7500R2 modular chassis, featuring 36 QSFP100 ports capable of delivering 100 GbE per port (with support for multi-rate breakdown to 10/25/40/50 GbE). Built on Arista’s Jericho+ ASIC architecture, it offers deep VOQ buffering (16 GB per card) to virtually eliminate head-of-line blocking and maintain sub‑4 µs latency. Integrated features include AlgoMatch ACL acceleration, MACsec encryption (via variants), full Layer‑2/Layer‑3 routing, scale for up to 2M+ IPv4 unicast routes, and advanced telemetry support (LANZ, sFlow acceleration, AEM).
