The HPE JL223A (Altoline 6900 Series – 48G 4XG 2QSFP) is a high-performance, rack-mountable Layer 3 managed switch built for datacenters and top-of-rack deployments. It offers 48 auto-sensing Gigabit RJ‑45 ports for server or device access, four 10 GbE SFP+ uplink ports, and two 40 GbE QSFP+ stacking ports for high-speed interconnectivity. Powered by a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor and using the open ONIE bootloader for flexible OS choices, it delivers 128 Gbps switching capacity with ultra‑low latency (≈0.6 µs at 40 Gbps). Featuring redundant power supplies, fanless operation, and support for up to 4,096 VLANs, large MAC tables (≈176K entries), and robust IPv4/IPv6 routing support, it is ideal for scalable, high-density enterprise or cloud-scale networking environments.
