Designed for Catalyst 6500 and 6800 Series chassis with Supervisor Engine 2T+ compatibility, the Cisco WS-X6848-SFP-2T is a hot-swappable 48-port Gigabit Ethernet fiber module that uses SFP or SFP+ transceivers for flexible 1000BASE-X support. It leverages the hardware-accelerated DFC4 (Distributed Forwarding Card) architecture to deliver line-rate performance with forwarding capacity up to 60 million packets per second for L2, IPv4, and MPLS traffic.
