The Cisco ASA5525-K9 is a 1U rack-mount next-generation firewall that includes 8 Gigabit RJ-45 data ports, 1 Gigabit RJ-45 management port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, and a console port, along with a modular interface slot for optional interface expansion. It delivers robust performance with up to 2 Gbps stateful firewall throughput, around 650 Mbps with firewall+NGIPS, and 300 Mbps VPN throughput, supporting up to 500,000 concurrent sessions and 750 IPsec VPN peers in Active/Active HA mode with support for two security contexts
