The HPE 727060‑B21, marketed as the FlexFabric 10 Gb 2‑port 556FLR‑SFP⁺ Adapter, is a high-performance low-profile NIC designed for HPE ProLiant Gen9 and later servers with FlexibleLOM sockets. It features a PCIe 3.0 ×8 interface and two SFP⁺ ports delivering full 10 GbE (10GBase‑X) support with advanced capabilities like RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), Tunnel Offload (VXLAN/NVGRE), jumbo frame support, LSO/RSS, VLAN tagging, PXE boot, Wake-on-LAN, and virtualization offloads including SR‑IOV. With up to 20 Gb/s per port (40 Gb/s aggregate), it accelerates VM migration, storage fabric integration, and cloud workloads with minimized CPU load.
