The Arista DCS-7500R-36CQ-LC is a high-performance line card designed for the Arista 7500R and 7500R2 Series modular switches, featuring 36 ports of QSFP100, each capable of delivering up to 100GbE or supporting breakout options for 4x 10GbE or 4x 25GbE per port. Built on a deep-buffered VOQ (Virtual Output Queue) architecture using Jericho+ ASICs, it provides wirespeed Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding, MACsec encryption, advanced traffic management, and AlgoMatch for efficient ACL processing. The line card is ideal for cloud-scale data centers and service provider environments, offering high port density, low latency, and integration with Arista’s EOS and CloudVision platforms.
