The HPE JH684A (FlexFabric 5940) is a high-performance, 1U rack-mountable Layer 3 Ethernet switch ideal for data center Top‑of‑Rack or aggregation deployments. It supports up to 32 ports of 40 GbE (QSFP+), or can be split via breakout cables into around 96 × 10 GbE ports, offering ultra-low latency switching with sub‑microsecond forwarding. Delivering switching capacities up to 2.56 Tbps full-duplex and forwarding performance at line rate, the switch supports advanced routing protocols (static, OSPF), IPv4/IPv6, ACLs, QoS, large routing and MAC tables, and stacking via IRF or Aruba’s Fabric technologies—providing high scalability and enterprise-level flexibility.
