The HPE JG732A (MSR1003‑8) is a compact, 1U rack‑mountable multifaceted Gigabit Ethernet router designed for branch offices, featuring 8 auto‑sensing 10/100/1000Base‑T LAN ports and 2 dedicated WAN RJ‑45 ports, coupled with a USB 2.0 port for optional 3G/4G backup connectivity. Powered by a RISC-based processor with 512 MB DDR3 SDRAM and 256 MB flash, it offers high-performance routing at up to 500,000 packets per second, with support for static and dynamic IPv4/IPv6 routing (including OSPF, BGP, RIP), MPLS VPN, IPsec VPN, firewall/NAT, QoS, and VLAN tagging. With modular expansion options via SIC/DSIC slots and secure management interfaces like SSH, SNMP, Web UI, console, and RMON, it delivers reliable, secure connectivity tailored for secure enterprise and government branch deployments.
