The HPE JG511A (FlexNetwork MSR930 router) is a compact Gigabit desktop or 1U rack-mounted router designed for small branch offices. It offers 4 auto-sensing 10/100/1000Base‑T LAN ports for internal networking and 1 auto-sensing 10/100/1000Base‑T WAN port for Internet connectivity. Powered by a 533 MHz RISC processor with 256 MB DDR3 RAM and 128 MB flash memory, it delivers up to 300,000 packets per second forwarding performance, with support for advanced routing (static, OSPF, BGP, RIP), VPN, firewall, NAT, QoS, and VLAN tagging. The device also features integrated serial and console ports, and runs the MSR operating system to provide a secure and standards-based solution for reliable WAN and LAN routing in compact deployments.
