The HPE JL689A (FlexFabric 5710 24‑XGT / 6 QSFP+ or 2 QSFP28) is a top-of-rack, Layer 3‑managed data center switch offering 24 front-facing 1/10 GbE RJ‑45 (10 GBase‑T) ports and either six QSFP+ (40 GbE) or two QSFP28 (100 GbE) uplink modules, delivering up to 1.44 Tbps switching capacity and approximately 1,071 Mpps forwarding performance. With ultra-low latency (~1.5 µs for 64-byte packets), it supports advanced features including static/dynamic routing (e.g. OSPF), IPv4/IPv6, large routing and MAC tables, ACLs, QoS, jumbo frames, and comprehensive network security. Designed for scalability and flexibility in enterprise or virtualization environments, it provides modular uplink capability and robust performance in a standard 1U rack form factor.
