The HPE JG928A is a smart-managed Layer 3 Gigabit switch featuring 48 auto-sensing 10/100/1000 RJ‑45 ports with PoE+ support (IEEE 802.3at), and a total PoE budget of 370 W. It also includes four fixed Gigabit SFP ports for independent fiber uplink connectivity. This compact 1U switch delivers up to 104 Gbps switching capacity and 77.4 Mpps forwarding performance, supports static Layer 3 routing (up to 32 routes), VLANs, ACLs, QoS, and 802.1X port-based authentication. With fan-cooled design, web-based management, and a limited lifetime warranty, it’s ideal for deployment in small to medium-sized business networks seeking PoE-powered endpoints and reliable fiber connectivity.
