The Fortinet FG-100E is a high-performance, 1U rack-mount next-generation firewall built for medium-sized enterprises and branch deployments. It boasts 14 Gigabit RJ-45 ports, including dedicated WAN, management, HA, and DMZ interfaces, plus two additional shared media ports that can be used as either GE RJ-45 or SFP, along with USB and console interfaces for flexibility. Powered by Fortinet’s ASIC-driven architecture, it delivers up to 7.4 Gbps firewall throughput, 4 Gbps IPsec VPN performance, 360 Mbps NGFW throughput, 500 Mbps IPS, and 250 Mbps threat protection, all while handling up to 2 million concurrent sessions and enabling centralized SD-WAN, application visibility, and zero-touch deployments.
