The APC AP9643 UPS Network Management Card 3 is a secure, gigabit Ethernet expansion card for APC Smart-UPS units, offering comprehensive remote monitoring and management of UPS systems. It supports robust connectivity with RJ-45, dual USB ports (for firmware upgrades and optional Wi-Fi module), RS-485/Modbus for integration with building management systems, and a universal I/O port for environmental sensors or dry-contact inputs. Featuring enterprise-grade interfaces like web UI, SSH, and SNMPv3, it enables alerting via email, syslog, or traps, remote firmware updates, graceful network shutdowns via PowerChute Network Shutdown, and compatibility with EcoStruxure IT or StruxureWare platforms. The card also offers strong security features (HTTPS/TLS, 2048-bit encryption, role-based access, IPv6 support) and supports BACnet/IP for integration with BMS.
