The HPE JL681A is a smart-managed Layer 2+ switch from the Aruba Instant On 1930 series, featuring eight auto-sensing Gigabit RJ‑45 ports with Class 4 PoE+ support (up to 30 W per port), powered by a 124 W total PoE budget, and two dedicated Gigabit SFP fiber uplink ports. Built on a fanless, silent, plug-and-play design with energy-efficient IEEE 802.3az support, it delivers up to 20 Gbps switching capacity (approximately 14.9 Mpps throughput), and includes advanced features such as VLANs, link aggregation, QoS, static Layer 3 routing, ACLs, and IPv6 readiness. Managed via a user-friendly cloud or local GUI, the JL681A is ideal for compact business, office, or branch environments requiring reliable, flexible PoE power and fiber uplink connectivity.
