The EnGenius ESR‑9753 is a budget-friendly 1T1R 802.11 n wireless router delivering up to 150 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. It includes one 10/100 WAN port and four 10/100 LAN ports, supports WEP/WPA/WPA2 encryption, SPI firewall with DoS protection, and features VPN pass-through for IPSec, PPTP, and L2TP. The router also offers QoS (WMM), MAC & IP filtering, WPS for easy secure setup, dynamic DNS support, DMZ hosting, and a detachable RP‑SMA antenna for extended range. Configurable via a quick setup web wizard and manageable interface, the ESR‑9753 is a compact and straightforward solution for basic home or SOHO wireless networking with minimal hardware specs. Despite offering better range and speed than older 802.11 g routers, its 4 MB flash and 32 MB RAM make it unsuitable for modern firmware like OpenWrt
