The Dell 540‑BFGS, powered by Intel’s E810‑2CQDA2 chipset, is a dual‑port 200 GbE QSFP28 network interface card designed for a PCIe 4.0 ×16 slot. It supports high-speed data transfer of up to 200 Gbps total throughput, with each QSFP28 port capable of operating as 200 GbE, or split to support 2×100 GbE or 4×50 GbE lanes via breakout functionality. The adapter delivers enterprise‑grade features including SR‑IOV, DPDK acceleration, jumbo frame support, VLAN tagging, iSCSI/FCoE offloading, link aggregation, and overlay offloads (such as VXLAN, NVGRE, Geneve).
